Description

The 18-ton Heavy Half-Track was used to tow inoperable tanks from the battlefield for repair and maintenance. The 18-ton heavy half-track became the largest half-track the Germans had at their disposal and could tow 21cm and 24cm artillery pieces with relative ease. So it seemed a natural choice as the platform for a mobile mount for the 8.8cm Flak 36/37. The finished 1/35 scale model is 24.5cm long and 4.07cm wide.
