Description
In 2010 the German company Rheinmetall developed a new concept of modernization basic combat tanks – MBT Revolution. In 2011, the Leopard – 2 tank upgraded to this standard was presented at the IDEX-2011 exhibition. Demonstrated at the Paris salon MBT Revolution was a deeply modernized Leopard 2A4. Rheinmetall under the name MBT Revolution now offers a comprehensive update package for the main battle tanks – the modular concept of the package will ensure the implementation of both the current operational requirements in different countries, and the potential for future growth.
