These HO scale brass locomotives are finely crafted, hand-assembled models designed for collectors who appreciate the artistry of brass. While not based on specific prototypes, each locomotive is decorated in imaginative paint schemes that draw inspiration from the authentic liveries once used by the same railroads. Utilizing our Santa Fe Blue Goose tooling, these models deliver a unique blend of realism and creativity —combining the high-end detailing of brass construction with striking fantasy finishes that stand out on any display shelf or layout.
The Valley Flyer was a short-lived but unforgettable passenger train operated by the Santa Fe Railroad between Bakersfield and Oakland, California. From 1939 to 1942, it carried travelers to the Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay. All models are available in two configurations: Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC with Smoke or our Stealth Series —No-Sound, DCC-Ready models with factory-installed speakers.
