American Flyer Train Billboard
American Flyer is best remembered for the S gauge trains of the
1950’s that it made as a division of the A. C. Gilbert Company. In
May 1967, Lionel Corporation purchased American Flyer. Lionel’s
investment in new tooling has been interpreted as a sign of
commitment by the manufacturer to their market segment, as well
as the brand, the gauge, and the hobby in itself. Sign comes with
support and is only available in one size.
