This Railbox boxcar was built in the late 1970s. Belonging to a large series, this car has retained its original TTX paint. A subsidiary of TTX, Railbox was founded in 1974 to address a nationwide boxcar shortage by creating a large pool of free-running boxcars seen from coast to coast.
