There 18th special-type destroyer of the Fubuki class that shook the world, the eighth special-type II, is the Akebono. After commissioning in 1931, she participated in the first Shanghai Incident, participated in the Hangzhou Bay Landing Operation during the Sino-Japanese War, and also took part in the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
