Set of self adhesive die cut paper painting masks for a model kit of a Spitfire Mk.I aircraft in scale 1/32.

Set is recommended for a model kit made by Kotare.

Painting masks are an item that facilitates work of modellers using an airbrush.

They protect the transparent parts of the model (like canopy, lenses etc.) and often also wheel disks. They are factory cut to fit parts from a specific kit – information about what set it is designed for is given on the packaging. Also it is worth checking out wether the masks are covering whole canopy or there is a need to fill the central parts with masking fluid. Painting masks can be cut on a self adhesive foil or on a material similar to the self adhesive paper masking tape. Depending on the manufacturer and kit set might also include masks for the inner sides of the canopy.
