Sprue joints/ pouring gates
Use the edge of flat/slanted broach to remove remaining sprue joints or pouring gates on parts after removal (just like using a hobby knife)
Mould parting line
Use the edge on flat or slanted broach to remove mold parting lines on the parts.
Reaming
Use slanted tip inserted into a hole to ream it, so that to obtain a wider opening.
Round the surface joints
Hold your flat/slant edge broach in a manner that the edge is approximately 60° from the joint line. Start to scrape the line to obtain desired radius.
