-The Panzer III is an assault gun using the Panzer III chassis developed in Germany during World War II.

-The F-type is the first long-barrelled model of the III series and 359 tanks were produced from March to September 1942.

-From the short-barreled E model to the long-barreled 7.5 cm L43 gun, the special vehicle number was changed to Sd.Kfz.142/1.

-The last 31 tanks produced were equipped with a 7.5 cm L48 main gun for increased offensive power.
