At 500+ mph the aerodynamic and G loads on the airframe are considerable. In order to tolerate the high stresses, the airframe has to be robustly constructed and at over 40 lbs. there is enough composite material in one of these planes to build several “normal” slopers.

Owning and flying one of these ships is a privilege and in a class all its own.
