EXTREMELY LIMITED RUN
This is the first time this class of Shays have been offered in non brass. We are offering the El Paso and Southwestern railroad/El Paso and Rock Island railroad. These railroads came into existence at the turn of the 20th Century, primarily to service The Southwestern copper mines with interconnection to the Southern Pacific and the CRI&P Railroads. This locomotive was delivered to the El Paso and Rock Island Railroad as cab #105 With the El Paso Rock Island Route lettering. After 5 years the El Paso & Southwestern Railroad Bought out the EP&NE/EP&RI where the cab was renumbered to #100 with EP&SW lettering. Unfortunately the cab #99 that the EP&SW had was not photographed. Ultimately the entire 1,200 miles of the EP&SW was acquired by the Southern Pacific Railroad. ALL NEW TOOLING!!
