Description
The Douglas A-3 Skywarrior was designed for the US Navy as a carrier-based strategic nuclear bomber. Introduced in 1956, it could operate from the Midway-Class carriers. However, as submarine-launched nuclear ballistic missiles became more advanced, the A-3 was transitioned to other duties, including electronic warfare, strategic reconnaissance, and aerial refueling. This kit contains 72 parts to assemble a set of A-3D Sky Warrior aircraft in 1/700 scale. The fully assembled models are 3.3cm long and 3.2cm wide.
